Montessori de Terra Linda school is hosting a Preschool Parent-Only Kidpower Workshop. Designed for parents of children ages 3-5, Kidpower will cover People Safety skills for home, at preschool and the playground. During this parent-only workshop, parents will learn how to teach these age-appropriate safety skills in a positive, empowering way with their children. 

Be and act aware and confident • Check with adults if anything seems unsafe • Move away from possible problems • Follow Stranger Safety rules • Stay safe from hurtful words • Use voice as a safety tool • Set clear boundaries • Say “No” or “Stop” clearly and respectfully • Deal with other kids poking, pushing, grabbing, etc. • Use safety plans if lost in a store, park, or library • Get help from busy adults - and persist! 

*This workshop is for PARENTS ONLY* No childcare is available and workshop format is not appropriate for children. Tickets available $30/person. Non-refundable.
